Power of Silence

Awkward silences…

When awkward silences arise there seems to be this void that has to be filled, so what do some of us do? WE FILL IT! However, in Mark McCormack’s book, What They Don’t Teach You at Harvard Business School, I learned silence can be used very strategically. Rather than filling the void, let the other party fill it, you’ll certainly get more fruitful information while you can take time to collect your thoughts.
