Our Origins
"Kuma" = "bear" in Japanese
"Thoughts" = "the act of thinking about or considering something, an idea or opinion, or a set of ideas about a particular subject (Cambridge Dictionary)
"Bare" = "unconcealed; without disguise" (Oxford Dictionary)
----> "Bear" and "Bare" are homophones. Replace "Kuma" with "Bear" then "Bare". From that, we get Bare Thoughts.
This is how we begin.
Although, if you would like to rewind back, very far back, you'll find that this story begins with the question "What is a habit or hobby that has led you to your success?" After asking that question over the course of many months to a range of people from recruiters to CEOs, we have discovered that reading tends to be the answer. While there are certainly a myriad of other responses, this stuck out the most and KumaThoughts was born.
We are Connie Wu, Naishal Shah, Christopher Fallon, Matthew Nagata, and Christopher Kwon. We are here to challenge you to uncover a new truth, a new map of the world.
Our mission is to apply what we've learned through the many hours dedicated to reading and discussing. For you, we will bare our thoughts in hopes that you will be able to transform the style in which you approach life for the better.
We want to hear your thoughts so please like, comment, and subscribe! Welcome to the family!
